Why this sponsorship matters
Hastings Direct’s backing covers the cost of booking some of the best acts on the UK circuit, so the night raises more without spending more from the pot. All profit goes exactly where it’s meant to: to the three Sussex MND associations that support people living with Motor Neurone Disease, and the families and carers around them.

The line-up
We’ve got a cracking bill of professional circuit comedians for our first night:
- Your host — Anthony Ayton. Described by Reginald D. Hunter as “very intelligent,” he’ll keep things sharp and the room warm all night.
- Otiz Cannelloni. A one-of-a-kind act fusing magic and stand-up, with TV credits including BBC1’s The Stand Up Show and BBC2’s Stuff The White Rabbit.
- Pierre Hollins. A firm circuit favourite who has shared stages with Lenny Henry, Rory Bremner and Rita Rudner.
- Headliner — Ingrid Dahle. Chortle’s “alternative hero of the future” and a Sunday Times “fast-rising comedian,” with warmth, energy and a permanent smile.
