Raising money for Sussex MND associations through great comedy.
all profits are shared between Sussex local MND associations
In 2024, we lost my stepdad Adrian Hill to motor neurone disease. Throughout this really difficult time, East Sussex MND Association did an incredible job supporting us, making Adrian’s daily life more liveable and more dignified. MND has a steep learning curve. We all hope that a miracle cure comes along, but until that happens it’s critically important that we continue to improve the lives of sufferers and their loved ones. This is the often unheralded part of the MND Association, the local associations, where we want to have maximum impact.
From left to right: Barbara Albon (Chair of West Sussex South), Sharon Bass (Chair, East Sussex) and Rona Stephens-Hill (my mum, volunteer, and the person who came up with this idea!); Elsa Gillio, Association Visitor (one of the first people you will see following diagnosis); Justin Anderson, Association Visitor Coordinator; and Dennis Bass, East Sussex Treasurer and founder of the East Sussex MND Association 100 Club.
Volunteer teams like this operate across the UK. Eventually we want MNDA Comedy to grow and become a regular, predictable contributor to all of them. Thank you x.
“We wanted to give back to the people who supported our family when we needed them most.”
